BACKGROUND

Unurbul Orphanage provides long-term care and welfare for 210 children as well as rehabilitation services for 200 children, aged 2-18 years. Established in 2013, Unurbul is the largest government run orphanage that houses kids with special needs. Unurbul meaning "big family in Mongolia" is a children's charity aimed at creating favorable family conditions for each child, respecting their interests, developing creative approaches, obtaining life skills, and educating through school and cultural events. Their rehabilitation development center serves disabled children of the Bayanzurkh district who are in need of rehabilitation therapy, nursing, and development. They are in need of money to pay for children's needs and supplies.
Services for children:
- Care and welfare
- Medical services
- Psychological services
- Study groups
- Training development for life skills

Erdem Orphanage:

Erdem Orphanage is a two sisters owned orphanage that is solely dependent on individual donations and contribution. They have around 30 kids ages ranging from 3-16. Most came to the orphanage either because of loss of parents or family abuse or abandonment. The orphanage is in need of food, clothing, basic necessities, books, educational materials and school supplies. The two sisters try to create a family atmosphere for kids to supplement the family love they did not have a chance to experience. Unlike other big orphanages, Erdem places an emphasis on family and the kids call the two sisters mom and call each other brothers and sisters.
